hehehee. Maybe one day many of us will be able to dialogue (verb?) in real time physically. For now, we will work with the "virtual" communications. I know that the give and take of real conversation does tend to move things along. And yet, I find that I talk with myself pretty well at times.

i love how Steve talked from the gut level, very honest and open. also love the point he made about life and death, the intellectualizing of the concept of how short life is versus the activating the passions of living this all too short life. often, imho,it takes a near death experience to comprehend the action of this understanding.

i agree, Steve comes across as an ordinary fellow with an extraordinary story, reminds me of a book, "everyday monks and mystics". His speech is full of meatie topics, experiences and anedotes. i love how he immediately points out he dropped out of college and never graduated. the irony of the event.

that's because you are a social artist :)

David, I love watching your videos. You are passionate about each and every topic you discuss. I do understand what you mean about social artist. :-)
I would watch a video of you talking for hours. It takes ATTENTION SPAN. As long as you're willing to also watch a somewhat long video by me. Good thoughts as usual.

thanks... i know... i am not so good at cutting to the quick... it takes a while for me to centre on the thing discussed... i am a lot faster in real life... too fast... but for that, i need dialogue, and the opportunity to interrupt :)

lastly, only because of time and space, reflecting on myself at that point in my life, college graduation, i wonder how much of what he said would've gone right over my head. and from the video of the graduates, it seemed many of them were bored with the whole thing. r.
