Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage is my favorite Spyro game of all time. I thought it had much better controls than the first, a more memorable soundtrack, a much better story and really interesting characters (Hunter), awesome power-ups, and good graphics at the time. I also personally liked how there wasn't any other playable characters to take away Spyro's spotlight.
As for the song, it has really good percussion and other instruments that mix really well together making the song very engaging.
