Ministers and Senators met today in Dail Eireann to discuss the final stages of the Dog Breeding Establishment Bill and were greeted by a giant 'dog' from ARAN. The lively 'hound' waved a sign to Ministers and Senators and passing traffic that read - 'Modern Ireland -- Needs Modern Animal Protection Legislation'.
ARAN points out at this critical time that modern legislation to curb dog exploitation in Ireland is long overdue and is very much needed during a time of immense cruelty and suffering of dogs on puppy farms across Ireland.
ARAN continues to campaign for tougher laws for animals in Ireland.
