  • wow, nice, I can't seem to get anything to grow...keep buying seeds, and planting them, but nothing happens...ugh! I have a green thumb with indoor plants, but outside, not so much!

  • @canrsiegrl The trick here in AZ is to water deep and no so often. Get everything really wet and let it almost dry out before watering again. I know when I throw out seeds or just plant something I find I baby it too much, whereas all the volunteers in my yard are doing great because I leave them alone more, lol. Timing here is everything with our extreme weather, you are in AZ right? Keep trying and you'll get everything coming up :)

  • Nice. I love all kinds of sunflowers.

  • @Thagirion9 yeah there is just something about them isn't there. The birds love this combo of plants/tree here, all day you can see finch and sparrows and a few others dart in and out of the sunflowers and red fairy dusters. (bee's too!)

  • those look great! I wish I had some more color in the yard. I think I'll make a trip over to Bakers nursery where you said you got that deal on the wild flower seeds.

  • @DesertStateAgent oh yeah that would be cool. I've never been there, just had them mail me the seeds, but I bet it's a great place.

  • @ArizonaPublic hey thanks! I'm surprised by these myself. All my others died a long time back, glad to hear your getting some new growth...I'm waiting on my wildflower mix to grow, it's been almost 2 weeks since I threw out the seeds.

  • Those sunflowers look awesome for this time of the year. Mine all dried up but there are some more coming up from the ground. Cool Video!

  • @Allen2045 thanks :)

  • Beautiful
