Harvey Reid plays slide guitar blues on the Chrysalis Guitar

This 2009 live performance (with some fancy video effects) shows Maine acoustic whiz Harvey Reid playing his version of the Rising Sun Blues on his rare Chrysalis graphite guitar in Open D tuning with a metal slide. A custom Fishman Aura patch gives it a metal-body resonator tone. Reid's 25 recordings, ranging from 1982 to 2010 are all on Woodpecker Records, most of them are still in print in some form.
