I was so impressed by your video that I have posted it in the Pontifical University of St. Thomas Aquinas blog. Search for Angelicum Newsletter on Google.
This will be a great introduction for our students to Aquinas! He is still "cool" after all these centuries!

The TA for my English history teacher played this before our exam. The professor got a kick out if it and it helped me with a question about scholasticism. XD

This isn't originally a Bananarama song - the original by Shocking Blue is actually much better. :)

@juvenal107 btw Bananrama just covered this song. It was originally performed by Shocking Blue a Dutch band, in the late 60's

I agree ... 'tis a video not a philosophy lesson!
"Aquinas was his name"? No, it wasn't. "Thomas Aquinas" just means "Thomas of Aquino".

And therefore, it would be incorrect to say that "Aquinas" was his name, just as it would be incorrect to say that "the Nazarene" was Jesus' name. Yes, I know I'm nitpicking and I feel kind of bad for critiquing your videos even though they are awesome. :-) But while we are at it, there's also a mistake in the Constantine video because Constantine wasn't baptized yet when he convened the council of Nicaea. But anyway, I really like your videos. Keep up the good work. :-)

@HaecceitasQuidditas you are reading into the lyrics of Constantine - we are simply listing things that he did or happened to him, in no particular order...it could be assumed that if you are studying about him or already know about him you should be aware he was famously baptized on his deathbed- and if introducing this topic, teachers of course would be bringing up this very point...regardless, the timing of his baptism pales in light of what he did to change the empire and aid Christians
