Six months after the electoral commission he headed was unceremoniously disbanded Samuel kivuitu is tonight sharing some of his reflections of the 2007 elections exclusively with NTV. Kivuitu feels badly treated by the president and prime minister but has no regrets. A much-relaxed Samuel Kivuitu spoke to NTVs Emmanuel Juma.

the way kenyans have tried to blame kivuitu, i have lost so much respect for that country. to try and blame this man sitting in his office for people who organised themselves to hack and burn innocent people to death is pathetic and weak.

and the same time, the real culprits are sitting in their ill-gotten ministries masquerading as the public face of kenya. no wonder the rains are failing and our people are starving. the gods are looking down at us with disgust.
