lol, chemistry knowledge is rather sparse around here. If you want to see lithium react like sodium, just heat the water till its boiling first. And to get a faster reaction still, just add potassium to an acid. Just don't expect huge explosions. It is more likely, the build up of reacting hydrogen ions would blow the metal out of the water.

I agree with with what was said about Mythbusters. They proved there isn't that big of a reaction with a larger amounts of rubidium and cesium. One other thing you can see the detonation wire running into both tubs.
