North south hit in a game between the San Jose Sharks and St. Louis Blues on Thursday, November 4th, 2010 at the Scottrade Center in Saint Louis, Missouri. It appeared to be a missed call, there was no intent to injure.

  • And anyone who believes his bullshit or believes this was not intentional is excessively gullible and is probably a below average performer in the arena of life. Regardless of what the rules are or how they are interpreted, or how hits like this are broken down to the tenth degree, whats gleamingly obvious is that there is intent to harm, and that is really what's important. Fucking retards, stick to NASCAR.

  • @rbaade078 you have no idea what you are talking about.

  • Thornton just should have gotten lower and this would have been a perfectly clean hit. Perron was accepting a pass to his backhand side from behind. As soon as he turned forward there was Thornton's shoulder in his face. I don't think this so much dirty as it was just stupid on Thornton's part.

  • @sharkie88s He wasn't skating with his head down. It was a bad pass.

  • Clean hit. Keep your head up dumbass.

  • @Drforrester31 Thornton doesn't hit to the head in international competition. That's curious...

Gleam, a small beam or glow of light, exp reflected light, a BRIEF or DIM indication, To be manifested or indicated BRIEFLY or FAINTLY. good word. Also pretty sure not actually a word. i.e gleamingLY? If you know anything about hockey you would know its kinda difficult at times for tall players like Joe not to take off a shorter player's head when they are looking down. Look at the height difference between the two. Still not advocating the hit but stick to mocking NASCAR

  • Thornton hit him with the top of his shoulder. If anything Perron should have been suspended for being too short

  • @pwisnieff they did lol

  • So glad we traded his ass, 2011 Bruins champions!!!!

  • I really like Jumbo Joe but i've seen so many dirty hits from this guy ...
