A short clip demonstrating the sound quality of the Harmon Kardon sound system. My car has the Coral Leather with the Aluminum Trim. This video was taken with my iPhone 4.

  • Its Harman not Harmon !!

  • I have the HK in my 135i, an '08 model. Pretty decent - nice crisp treble, tight somewhat deep bass, never distorts even at full volume (although doesn't ever reach very high levels). I'd not pay what BMW are asking for it as an additional feature (I got it included in a 2nd hand car purchase) because when I tend to drive it's for spirited runs and really it's just the engine and Performance exhaust I'm wanting to hear.

  • what is the song? and what idiot said it doesnt sound good. its amazing for the cost of the option

  • @jerabaub1 jbl and harman kardon are from the same company... but ya i replaced my accords stock system with a jbl system.

  • Very good system. I love it.

    Superior to most factory systems.

Only my 2007 Tundra JBL system was better, and not by much.

BMW's Harmon Kardon system is very, very good.

    Worth the expense.

    Love the car too.

  • thts a sexy car :)

  • @popboard I got a great deal on the full i-drive, bluetooth phone and some other bels & whistles wich included the HK system, so at the end of the day i would not have lost my money on it,. but if you can't find a very nice salesman that offers you a good deal on the HK system, just go with the standard one, and spend your 875 bucks on the "aftermarket" system, which is just about what it costs! (and to ad to the other post, the HK system in the new Benz E class is much better!, but its a benz)

  • @rdknegt you paid $875 extra for the HK system just to remove it? Or are you referring to the factory sound system that comes standard.
