The Wildcats hosted Northern Arizona in snowy conditions to say the least on Nov. 14, 2009. The snow actually didn't start falling until about an hour before game time, but it accumulated very quickly. There was a lot of slipping and sliding, as well as a lot of dropped balls, but the Wildcats came out on top, 27-9, in front of more than 4,000 dedicated fans.
The 'Cats held the Lumberjacks, who came into the game with the No. 1 passing offense in the conference, to just 66 yards through the air.
Tim Toone had a 90+-yard punt return in the game and Tyrell Fransisco caught two touchdown passes in the fourth quarter to lead the Purple and White to victory.
This was the best game ever.

If this were Flagstaff, they'd be in the dome.

@trailandale Yes. Why not? Just because the NFL postponed ONE snow game, out of literally a thousand that have been played throughout it's history? The only reason they did that was because the Vikings couldn't even fly into town the blizzard was so bad. I've been to multiple Chicago Bears games with snow like this.
