At the age of 37, Jennifer Thompson bench pressed (raw) 292.1 pounds weighing 131.75 pounds at the USA Powerlifting Raw National Championships in Denver, CO on July 16, 2010. This is arguably one of the greatest bench presses of all time for men or women (Jennifer is also a lifetime drug-free lifter). Her bench press was 2.217 times her bodyweight. She went 9 for 9 on the day (with 27 white lights) and added a 308.6 lb squat and 385.8 lb deadlift for a 986.6 lb total, a Wilks score of 500.5, and Best Overall Female Lifter for the contest. Her bench press is a USA Powerlifting Open American Raw Record and would be a World Record if such records were officially kept. This bench press easily puts her atop the unofficial all-time best bench press list for the women's raw 132-lb class. Video taken by Joe Warpeha.

  • Agreed - one of the great bench presses of all time. And so very clean. No second guessing this one.

  • @AndyHarglesis Next time you feel like bragging, just brag. Dont try to hide the brag in a comment about how strong you think she is.

  • nice.she could do more

  • Wow this woman is a gift from God!!!

  • She is amazing!

  • @peter357 You're right. 50s and 10s are green. At least the new Eleiko plates are. The bar is loaded with 2*25kg+2,5kg+1,25kg, witch makes the weight 132,5 kg when you include the bar and locks. For anyone wondering.

  • jaw dropping ....

I bet she could do atleast 5-10 pounds more .

  • @NextNahaj red is 25 kg, if there is 50 kg, I think they are green...

  • @MrSnowbear44

The red ones weigh 50kg, which is 110 pounds. Have you ever been at a gym? how can you not know how much the red ones weigh? The standard is exactly the same in every country, unless you use ghetto equipment.

    Yellow - 15kg, Blue - 20kg Red 50kg

  • @AndyHarglesis Why is it always someone writing some bullshit like "I'm 3 yearold and I benchpress 600 pounds with one hand"
