Sweareoke - London Music Hackday

This is a hack made by George Buckenham and Joe Bain at the London Music Hack Day 2010. It plays any karaoke files and you play along with a guitar hero controller. You play the words to the song but if you miss one the game swears at you.

The hack was written in Python using PyGame and PyKaraoke. The game fetches speech samples from forvo.com and for any missing ones it uses the festival speech synth.
