A collection of my favorite videogame music. Note that most of them are from games I played so I might miss some great ones from games I never played.

  • How is this this for lyrics, do you think?

I closed my eyes, heard the wind pass through the swaying trees, felt it lift me up into the sky with the birds,

it's peaceful, so peaceful out here.

Took my time, found the place that sang unto my soul, escaped the barren earth i left behind long ago, im free now,

    so free now im here.

(the starting line is intentional :P)

  • This...is the Platonic ideal of the "idyllic little village" theme in RPGs.

  • I never finished this game and this song is still amazing to this day on for the Wild Arms series

  • this music is one of the best game songs i´ve ever heard...

  • thumbs up if this made you feel at peace...

  • @LedKenji666 Well, at the same time, most RPG's that came after Final Fantasy could be said to have ripped off its turn-based battle system, use of a story and distinguishable character classes... I do agree with you that some Wild Arms songs sound too far alike to not have been completely based on other songs, but having two of something really good is still nice.

  • @SnapSunny inspiration and ripping off melodies are two diferent things but i still appreciate wild arms music

  • @LedKenji666 Everything in this world is derived from something else. The musician for Wild Arms was intentionally creating songs in the style of Ennio Morricone because he was a very good musician for westerns, and the whole idea behind Wild Arms was to create a western-themed RPG.

  • wild arms songs are realy awesome but they are like all copied from another song. the town theme in wild arms 1 is copied from for a fistful of dollars this song is copied from dust in the wind and another song is copied from the ecstasy of gold.
