@RRainey20 Correct. You can't control the events that happen around you, the economy, the recession, or whatever. The only thing you can control, however, is your response to those events.

@Kommaseir Trying telling that to those who worked hard all their life, only to be laid off and can't find another job in this economy. Try telling that to those who graduate college but can't find a job because they are not "expierence" enough or "overqualified." Shit happens that is beyond our control and sometimes, no matter how hard you work or how fearless you are, there is usually something else (government) that has more control over your life then you do. That is the real reality.

@RRainey20 This is exactly the point. Only those who believe can overcome. Only those who can work hard can overcome. Only those who do not fear can overcome. No one else is to blame except you - you are 100% responsible for your life. No one else. That is reality.

ok but to actually get to a position where you have a chance of becoming president you have to also succeed in an awful lot of situations beforehand. And he did have the biggest hat, maybe that was the secret to his success? i am going to get one tomorrow... just in case.
