  • The fact that you haven't read some of the dark tower books and just listen to them, feels like it gives your review less credibility. There is a difference between reading the book and just listening to it. Listening to the book is just that, but reading it submerses you into the book which gives you a more enriching experience in reading it because there's more use of imagination in making it come to life.

  • @comotose762 That could be one of the most ignorant things I've ever heard. You are aware King is a huge supporter of audio books and was a big pusher in getting them as prolific as they are right?

  • @blowshimselfupdude

No, I'm not aware of Kings activism towards audio books nor do I find it significant as an authority in this matter. I don't mean disrespect, but I do feel that reading a book is more then just hearing it. It takes discipline and dedication which helps to submerse you in the book, bringing it to life. I saw your review on "The Drawing of the Three," and I feel you didn't give the book as much credit as it deserved. When you mentioned that you only heard it, i shook my head.

  • @comotose762 Well since King WROTE the books and SUPPORTS the audio versions I think that deflates your entire argument. You can be just as immersed in a book by listening to it. It sounds liek you've never listened to a book and are just being elitist. I DO read books. but I went through this series on audio. So what? It isn't actually different except for how the characters actually sound in my head.

  • How do all the books in this series work? Because I've heard book 4 and 5 are just side stories or something like that? Like you wont really miss anything if you dont read them? Anyone know what I'm talking about?

  • @divad44 No. None of them are side stories and you have to read them

  • Dude, seriously, prepare what you're gonna say before you make a video. Way too many awkward pauses. By 3 minutes in, I was yelling "GET ON WITH IT" at the screen.

  • I actually own the original and I love it. I love the mood and the atmosphere.

  • @blowshimselfupdude Ok, Really, READ THE BOOKS. So King Supports Audio Books? You still get a better experience when you read it.

By the way, Its called a script, USE ONE

  • You have forgotten the face of your farther

  • Dear God this is terrible - waste of time listening to this worthless attempt at a review. Prepare something - anything - before you open your mouth. Great Series - awful review.
