Many thanks to Shirley, Larry, Liz, Junior, Dillon, Michelle and the hummingbirds for their patience! Filmed in southern Kentucky entirely with a Canon Rebel t3i (600d) on the 4th of July weekend. Edited with Sony Vegas.

You won't hear a hummingbird heartbeat but you'll sure hear their wings! LOL

Thanks for watching!

  • Amazing Video Dale! I am jealous I am lucky to see one in a season, looks like maybe multiple feeders is the key .. and for me maybe less cats around.. this is a wonderful video , can't believe how many I bet you couldn't even count them all..:)

  • @dianemummvideos Awwwwwwwww! Thanks Diane! Yes, cats could be a factor! LOL We only get down to Michelle's aunt's house a few times a year during "hummingbird season" but it's a sight to behold! I'm always amazed seeing them and having them fly all around me. Thanks so much for subscribing!

  • That's really great you are so diligent about rotating and cleaning the feeders. How do you sanitize them? OH...I don't get nearly as many hummers as you do...but enough to be pleasantly happy watching them...and busy cleaning and filling feeders.

Your video is especially nice...would enjoy seeing more.

  • @hummingbirdlady11 I don't know how she sanitizes them. I'll try to remember to ask her. From what I've read in the past, vinegar will not sanitize, only a 10% solution of bleach in water will. Vinegar is a good cleaner but not a sanitizer. Have you seen my latest hummingbird video?

  • @mediamaker2000 I just watched it...wow...lots of birds...good video.

  • @hummingbirdlady11 Thank you!

  • That is so cool. You must be in the migation route. I have never seen so may at one time.

  • @mediamaker2000 I don't have anything to make a video...just enjoyed yours video very much.

  • @hummingbirdlady11 Oh those aren't my hummingbirds or feeders. They are my girlfriend's aunt's. I have no idea how she cleans them. She does all that in the early morning hours before I wake up LOL Are you going to put up a video of yours? I'd really like to see them!

  • @hummingbirdlady11 Thanks! It's an awesome in sight, sound and scenery. The feeders are rotated, cleaned and sanitized each time one runs out of sugar water which often doesn't even take a day at best. How many hummers do you get in a day per feeder and how often do you clean yours?
