Todd Rundgren and band perform World Wide Epiphany at The Music Mill Indianapolis on 1/20/2008. Kasim Sulton, Jesse Gress and Prairie Prince. Kas is wearing a Groupie Gear t-shirt given to him the night before: "I Fancy The Fans"
How amazing that your first exposure to Todd was in a live context! The bassist is Kasim Sulton.
Todd's been playing with Rachel Haden on bass and Kasim on guitar. Rachel's a good player, but she can't equal Kasim's playing whatsoever. In fact, she has to look continually at her left hand...something that any pro player should NOT have to do. It really affects her stage presence. I say this as a bassist myself.
Glad to hear that Kas will be back on bass for the Akron concerts.
I was never a fan.Infact I never knew who the man was or his group until I met my husband (MojoRisen). I went to this concert where you can see me standing against the stage. The first time I seen or heard Todd was upclose and personal but I must say the thing that amazed me most was the bass player. That man can rock!
