@samwiserich Stacks and Straight pipe are hardly different. you lose the mandrel bends that a PERFORMANCE exhaust system give you that give you the power. And just putting 6" stacks on your truck with a 4" exhaust will not bump your mpg's up by 3, sorry it won't happen. So thats a load of bullshit. Keep dicking around in your mustang moron.
@CumminsDiesel2007 ....... i guess youve never drove a truck with stacks, i had a 4 inch turbo back exhaust on my 97 powerstroke and i was getting right at 15 mpg around town and 18 on the highway and i put 6'' grand rock stacks on it and it went to 18 mpg around town and 21 on the highway and i gained power and it lowered my egts ALOT.
@Terruhcutta Umm stacks improve performance. You lose all the benefits of the mandrel bends in an exhaust system that increase fuel mileage and HP. Whoever told you stacks improve performance is retarded. Yes alot of people run them on trucks, but it's mostly just for show and a slight drop in EGT's. But nothing more.
is that just stock RPM ?? like no govener spring mod done to it ?? my 96 has 5 inch mbrp an stock it sounded like that..it turns 5000 rpm now

@djcheff Oh yeah? Well I've got two of everything you listed. I also don't have proof of it, just like you.

Id rather have the tail pipe then the stack because then when I punch it infront of a ricer I am sure it will hit them!!
