Beethoven Pathetique-PJ is the 1st place WINNER in the Senior Category for the 2007 Naples Music Club Competition - Piano Division.

This Competition Awards Recital took place on May 6th, 2007, At Golden Gate High School, Naples Florida.

PJ is also a WINNER in the Southwest Florida 2007 Steinway Young Artists Piano Competition, which took place on May 4th, 2007.

His selection is the Beethoven Sonata Number 8, Op 13 - movement 3 - Rondo, Allegro - commonly known as the Pathetique.

Years of study at the time of this clip: 8.

PJ graduated in 2007 from Gulf Coast High School, Naples. He now attends the music school at Florida State University, and continues his piano study.

The Piano is a Yamaha Concert series C6 grand piano.

    Hi his playing is good. I think there's no right and wrong answer in music, it's an art. Some people may think that the speed is not near perfect and some may say it's too slow or too fast. It depends on the interpreter.

    Of course there are some guidelines to right and wrong, but in this case, it's up to the performer to think if it's the right speed or not. :)
