Here's another short video of a Thorens TD-224 in action. These turntables are quite rare as only 4000 were made. This one dates to 1963. Made in Switzerland. I am the second owner of this machine.

Nice to see it from another angle, and never knew these actually came with dust covers. And never realized the flap on the record holder arm was a brush. Very odd shut off method. Sweet, thanks for posting!

@hugginduff It's a 9' Concert Grand made by Knabe&Sons. Circa 1885.
