Pawlenty is not a good candidate for 2012, although hes better than Palin. Pawlenty would just continue the failed policies of borrowing. In his past budgets he continued to increase spending and raise fees. He raises fees so he can claim hes never raised taxes. We need a candidate who will balance the federal budget by cutting much of the unnecessary spending. Someone who would revert control of states rights (education, social services, etc) back to the states and reduce entitlement programs.

Do people have any idea who the real Tim Pawlenty is? Being from Minnesota he is termed here by many as a RINO. The only reason he continues to win elections is because the democrats failed to come up with a good candidate to beat him. The republican party in this state is in shambles, the democrats are 3 votes short of a super majority. To fill state budget deficits everytime he pushes for more bonding (debt) and accounting shifts. He would just continue the same policies of spend and borrow.

i like him. good speaker, well-spoken. he's got high approval ratings as governor, which is pretty amazing considering he's a republican and minnesota is full of left-wing moonbats. he'd be a good veep for mccain.
