As you all know, Hitchcock uses symbolisms in his films. In Foreign Correspondent, "Hats" are very important.

  • But what IS the significance?

  • I think hats represents the danger characters are unaware of.

  • I will try.

  • what happened to posting the whole movie!

  • OMg. Is the entire movies not posted? It's just before 2009. I hope every movie made will be posted on Youtube. It just makes sense. They'll run ads but I would like to see all the movies on my computer and ipod.

  • This is a little late but could you post the whole movie.

  • I like these little details that you spot in films - like long takes, hats, etc. This is a better way to review a movie (in my opinion) than to engage in long semi-philosophical explanations. I mean, in a good film the form explains the content all right - you just need to look at the form carefully and spot the details.

So, make more of these! :)

  • One of my favorite Hitchcock films. A minor masterpiece. :)

  • could you put the whoe film on?
