Lead Acid Car battery to Alkaline rechargeable battery conversion !UPDATE!
I hope you enjoy the update.
I took a common dead lead acid car battery and performed a conversion to Alkaline via Alum powder.
Before the conversion this battery was ready for the junk yard and didn't hold a charge any more. After a lot of cleaning with baking soda water to neutralize the acid we did the alum powder water conversion.
After some brief testing I noticed the converted Alum Alkaline battery had good power and seemed to hold a nice charge. I will update you guys with my latest findings as soon as I do more testing. Please do not try to do this at home, acid is very dangerous and should only be attempted in a safe environment and with the proper safety equipment.. Also please check with local and state laws as to the disposal of chemicals and waste materials.
I hope you enjoy this video!

  • How many car batteries are gonna be needed to run your whole house as leisurely as you do with being connected to the grid? Televisions, computers, refrigerator, ect...How many solar panels?

    .

As always, thanks for your time and generosity.

  • @greenback001 Im going to hook up about 20-25 batteries. Im also building the solar panels and have 4 up so far.. I want to have about 20-25 also. I will have everything powered at that point.

    All the best,

    -Pete

  • a couple of question 1) you have advertisement on your videos now, do you get paid for that? 2) did you test the battery with a load on the grinder? now i have a comment, why don't you use lithium battery's? I saw a video where a guy uses lithium Titanate battery's in his motor cycle about the size of a small phone book, check out this video about this battery - Lithium Titanate Battery Test copy and paste this

  • @Iseekoutthetruth Yes, im a Youtube Partner and it earns me money for the ads.. It also helps me support do more with my projects.

Im going to be stress testing it more this week and will update you on the battery. I did trickle charge last night and the battery is in the 13V zone and 100% charged so its a success.

I went lead acid because I can get dead ones for FREE.. I will look into these other batteries too. Thanks for the tip.

    All the best,

    -Pete

  • THAT is pretty slick man. ok now i am getting excited about this whole idea a little more than i was already.

  • @daddytech Nice.. Im glad you enjoyed the project..

I woke up today and the trickle charge is done. Im at 13V on the meter and 100% on the charger.. Success!

  • This is really cool...I have (many years ago) gone to the junk yard and purchased batteries for 10 bucks or less. Many were going to the lead recycler... I'm not sure what the cost of lead is now, but I'm sure you could find a dead 12volt battery for 5 bucks somewhere to restore. (Of course, we'd never do this at home because the vapors are bad and stuff, - so in theory anyway).

  • There is also a simple circuit called a joule thief that can rejuvenate batteries. The circuit has many other uses as well like powering many LED lights with a single 1.5v AA battery. All you need is to wind a bifiler coil (TESLA) a resistor npn transistor and a diode.

The coil is the key to the efficiency in that it utilizes back emf spikes. You can charge a large battery from a small one as well. Can charge a 12volt from a 6 volt battery.

  • man, im glad i found your channel these kind of video's are great.

  • will this battery start your car now and if it does how much was that junk in the bag ?

  • Vatican- NAZIS- SocialistsCFR (luciferian jews) run the world. The Globalist, the international bankers, secret societies, organized religions ruled by an elite bloodline, same bloodline ruling from Egypt 2 Rome 2 British (European) Empire 2 now American Empire (1913 Fed Reserve). • I don't think that so called "Alkaline conversion" (alkaline rechargables work in a complete different way - completely without lead, e.g.) is such a good idea after all - also, using a car battery for deep cycles is also not what it's made for. Google for "battery faq" for further info..

  • The problem with going off grid is the battery cost because brand new solar battery 6v 225ah are around $150 - $200 and for a normal house that is around 35kw a day of consumtion that would be 50 battery of those just for 1 day because u can only discharge them to 50%. The minimun require for off grid is 2.5 days so that would be around 100 -150 batteries for 2-3days. If what u can do is true then what can a person do is buy 50 dead battery and transform them. That would low the cost alot. : )

  • for chrissake you are perfect to give the vinegar (acetic acid) antidote to chemtrails a real go. Pls check out one of my vids and leave a comment there if you are interested in that.. I'll help man ! Until then we are unsubbing. We hope to hear from you soon.

  • Good stuff.

So if you have ten of these batteries connected together, it would give you 120V. Making several ten battery arrays could remove you from the grid completely if you had enough solar panels to generate the power necessary to recharge them.

  • How is the battery holding up?
