Just got mine last week and the options are mind blowing, before that I had an MV8800 and an MPC 2500 and the octatrack is just so much faster and versatile, had a tune going in about 5 minutes but get under the hood an the sonic manipulation is incredible

i{m so broke that I see this and I feel like watching porn in a 5 billion dls mansion.

@Kabzoer It is making sound, I have it running through the moog, the volume for it is on the top of the mixer section on the voyager. Blends in though, so hard to pick out.

@dylannau Is the xoxbox making sounds? or does it just send MIDI?

@dylannau WIll do. Thanx. and be sure to post something here when you do make that other video, to make sure I see it.

X100!?!? Thats unbelievable. LIke I said there isn't any body just going crazy on it, so its hard to see what the thing is really capable of. Most people show "practical" applications, but I want to see whats on the far limits. If find that when you get into the really weird stuff although they might not make good music, if you use these weird techniques sparingly then it spices up the music for sure. I can't wait for your next vid. Thanx again.

Thanks bud! I've been wanting to get an octatrack but so far I haven't seen anything to warrant the purchase. I've got a Machine Drum and after falling in love with it I figured anything Elektron made would have to be golden. But as I said after researching it, I'm not so convinced.

@sharkbarf1 Yeah, it's not for everyone. When I recorded this video it was brand new and had no Midi and the OS was rather limited, but now.......oh man. It's like a machinedrum x 100. There are so many possibilities, I often have to turn it off just because of brain overload.
