An incredible stunt on the drums by Duncan Phillips of the Newsboys, at AGAPE Fest 2007. There was a second set of drums set up down a walkway in the middle of the crowd, where lead singer Peter Furler challenged Duncan to a drum-off. I'd say Duncan won...

  • oh my gosh! what copy cats!

i think the no one should play the guitar cuz they are just copying the first guy that played the guitar. and A-G, and everything in between has been copyrighted. So please, find some different notes.

by the way guys, leave the drumming to cavemen please, obviously we cant copy them.

  • Actually, no, they didn't. The Newsboys formed in 1985, Slipknot formed in 1995. Ten years later. The Newsboys were already doing things like this in the 80s, and Slipknot didn't have their debut album until 1998. I have all of Slipknot's CDs and none of the Newsboys' albums, so I am not at all biased - Just the facts. ;)

  • whoa crazy stuff......

  • hes gooddd woooo and dizy

  • What is really awesome is that Duncan Phillips wasn't even the original drummer until 1997. He was their bassist and keyboardist! Peter Furler was the original drummer until he took over lead vocalist duties.

  • Anointed beats!

  • @ChoirGurl09 and you know what's awesome? this drummer is anointed. That made him more big ^_^ that's what other's don't get :)Being anointed is a massive difference, and that separates them from being just a talented person ^_^

  • i was there it was soo kewl i was like woah and my friends were like wooah and then every one else was like woaahh lol

  • they did this 2011,, on ignite consert,, incredibel,, he the bomb!!!

  • I saw them during the Go tour and the spinning drums were impressive, regardless of who did it first or who did it best. One thing the others probably can't say is that they built the rig themselves, like Duncan did with his own hands. Now that's cool.

  • Nice but Earth Wind and Fire did it better in the 70's. The way the drum spent was around as a circle like a clock while the guy played

  • Love it when he does that!!!
