http://GetFit.FITwithNESS.com -- Today I just thought I would let you know what has been happening with me. Over the last couple of weeks I have been experiencing BLOATING and decided to limit my carbs. Sort of like a LOW CARB DIET, but not really over the top. Today is day 3.
I believe that everyone is different and it just seems I respond well to a PROTEIN DIET. When I dieted for the Natural Body Building Competition I basically had ZERO CARBS, not just a LOW CARB DIET, I mean zero CARBS, because I didn't really know what I was doing, and I just though zero carbs was the way to go.
I actually felt really good on the Low Carb Diet once I had eliminated all the simple carbs. It was a pure Protein Diet with egg whites for breakfast, fish and salad.
Besides the obvious of losing weight on the Protein Diet, I slept better, no BLOATING, I had more energy.
Over the last few weeks I've gained weight and the bloating is back because I'm not on a Low Carb Diet and I have been eating all types of carbs, The complex carbs, the simple carbs, the sugary carbs, the whole grains, the cereals and things like that. So I have just decided to eliminate them and do a Low Carb Diet, basically a Protein Diet, because I am not liking how I am feeling on the inside.
I have friends that have done a Low Carb Diet before and they can't function. I think some people just haven't "evolved" and basically should be eating what the cave man used to eat. So eating fruits, vegetables (which are carbs, btw, but they are the carbs that come from the earth).
So on this Protein Diet, I have already started feeling better, no bloating, within the first day I started doing the Low Carb Diet. I woke up before my alarm and was feeling good and am starting to get rid of the water. Will keep you posted.
I hope you enjoyed my thought for the day on carbs. I love carbs, but they don't love me. Alright Bye and let me know your thoughts too.

I think the medical community will eventually come around. Carbs are the enemy for a large percentage of the population. I eat 50 net grams of carbs per day all from vegetables and I have lost 70 lbs of fat (former, flabby bodybuilder) in 3 months. Whole foods are the way to go!
