I've read Taken Into Custody cover-to-cover. It was the most amazingly well-researched book I've ever read. Baskerville has at least one reliable source to back up every single one of his claims (and he makes many), and it illustrates what is, by far, the biggest problem with this country: Family Court.

Why doesn't Baskerville ever yell out "TITLE IV-D! - judges get extra money for each dollar the state extracts from the non-custodial parent in the form of child support!"

Child support comes in Many forms.
The best one is Joint Custody, where both Parents take baby expenses when their baby is in their possession.
Example: Mother have the baby 1 week, Father 1 week, and no one pays anything to no one.
Why do u look Child Support only paying Money to the other Parent!?

Every Psychologist in the world will tell u this: Both Parents are equally important to child's healthy Development mentally and physically.
That is 50/50 Joint Custody.

How, can you say "do the right thing" when ur the one who DOES not do anything Right.
Right thing to do is: Equal Parenting Rights/law's for Fathers and Mothers.
No, it's not a Right thing, to take Fathers rights from the Kid's and than make them pay child support.
Your doing the Wrong thing, for Fathers, and Kid's.

This TV reporter sickens me. He has no problem with Dads being humiliated, arrested, and punished. He talks about the kids as though money is more important than their Dads.He doesn't worry about the impact such publicity may have on a child, why, because it's always about the money.He's a scum sucking lowlife asshole but the problem is there's many more media mouth pieces like him.They believe the political drivel and look past the fact that family courts are corrupt as are collection agencies.

This reporter thinks just like so many misguided people that money is equal to supporting children. Hog wash. The so called "child support" is a price tag on our kids heads for chopping a parent out of the child's life. It is nothing better than ransom money that fathers are forced to pay meal-ticket mothers and nothing less than wholesale terrorism of society by the profiteering divorce industry. This is an industry for all its hypocrisy that is the worst weapon of mass destruction of all.
