great reveiw! most reveiws on here just rant on about a $10,000 car isnt smooth, or its plastiqi, and it sucks on acceleration. most ppl dont drive on everyday like me and funny how they know 100% of the cars capabilites.
the dodge a good car that is not up to more defined person of taste is not their fault, but a good car, has a good engine, and has more space sufuciente a Ferrari sports car, I love the caliber
I rented this and it is a underpowered piece of shit and extremely uncomfortable. I cannot believe the starting price is 16k, the quality suggests it should start around 14k.
I owned a Voyager and vowed never to buy another Chrysler product ever again. My inlaws also had a Caravan and had nothing but problems. Two other family members bought Dodges and BOTH were lemons.
Chrysler went bankrupt because their quality stinks. Being honest, I resent the fact that my tax money bailed them out. We have Nobama to thank for that one.
So yes, I do take it personally. Maybe I wouldn't if Chrysler was at least worth saving.
How rude. What can be said about someone who buys a nasty car like the Caliber and thinks all cars are meant to be like that, and assumes anyone who does agree is a maroon? I don't know whether to be insulted or feel pity.
Others somehow manage to build quality small cars. The Civic for example has better fuel economy, is less noisy, uses better interior materials, is more comfortable AND doesn't have the high depreciation of a Dodge.

After a week in a Caliber, I'd say not.

@AshtonPhoto you seem conflicted. you say "I don't know whether to be insulted or feel pity", and you say "Don't take is so personally".
but then I open my personal email this morning and you sent me a message about this?
it appears indeed you are the one who takes things personally.

@AshtonPhoto stupid comment. all small cars are hard plastic inside. if you want better, spend at least $30,000 and buy a bigger car.

Rented one for a week.
The Caliber is cheap and feels it. Hard plastics, noisy interior and dreadful fuel economy. Yep, it's a Dodge.
