I keep trying to help my friend with brain injuries get his redurbished set to work but the remote isn't all cool. All I did was hook the DVD/CD and Laserdisc players to the VCR, to the converter and back to the projector , small Sony and Dolby for 2 amps and my own speakers. Not as hard as a refurbed RCA DTV from Walmart I think.
Good luck though, but stop them if they ever dream this up again. 12 years from trials to switchover isn't cool unless you were the BBC going to 625 line color.
