  • Those pictures were of his last few hours. They were trying to get him to leard how to eat but he did not know how. So they put in an NG tube and began to give him breast milk and once they did that they found out that his heart could not get enough oxygenated blood to his digestive organs to stay alive and function and at that point everything inside died. There was nothing more they could so. So we spent his last hours holding him and loving him. I miss him so much.

  • I'm sorry.

  • Thank you for watching Sorens video. It means so much to be able to share his life with others. He was only here a few days but he left such an impact. He touched more lives in his few short days that I could hope to in a lifetime. Thank you. Please share this video with someone. Please spread the word that Heart Defects are the #1 birth defect. Of every government dollar spent on medical funding only a fraction of a penny is directed toward heart defect research. With awareness comes change.

  • Such a beautiful video. I'm sorry that you and your family became a part of the statistic relating to HLHS. May god pull you through and give you strenght when you need it the most.

  • your son was so precious. Im very sorry for your loss. We lost our son, David to HLHS January 20,2011. It still kills me, but I do find peace in knowing that he doesnt suffer anymore. I love that you took pictures at his funeral, we did not, but i wish we did. Beautiful!

  • God Bless your family.. Soren was absolutely beautiful. Thank you for sharing him with us.. I am so very sorry for your loss and commend you for doing this video. I pray that with awareness will come more research and funding. Please know that your little Angel has touched so many hearts.

  • Im Sorry for you loss. I sorta know what your going threw.. I have not lost a baby but I am one of those mothers with a CHD baby. She Is NOT a True HLHS baby Only b/c her LV was bearly big enough to do a 2 ventcaial repair.. But I kinda know what it is like... My moms Friends baby did however Die from HLHS when he was 6 months old. My prayers are with you. Your baby is Watching over your every move. You will see him Again One day. God Needed his Angel back.

  • I'm sorry to ask this. If you don't mind. Was it his time or did the doctors did not feel the life support would keep him alive. If this sounded mean I'm sorry. I'm just curious. BC i saw how sad the family was when he was still alive with the breathing tubes. Were these his last moments? I really feel for you and your loved ones. My baby boy passed after birth.

  • This is such a sad story, but your baby is living in paradise now. He looked at peace and happy when he was in your arms. Mothers are amazing people. I will pray that God will heal your heart and everyone who has ever been through this kind of situation.

  • Newborn babies are always so, so beautiful, but your sweetie was especially beautiful. My daughter was also born with HLHS and she too has her wings now. May God heal your broken hearts through this time of great pain.
