hey lady you did good ,up till a fews yrs ago i hunted almost every season,then i killed an elk in colorado at about 40 yds and the effect the 300 win mag had on the animal turned me to just straight trophy yellowcat fishing,but i will still die to protect the hunting tradition of other folks,hell of a buck

First buck? great job! As for tears it's OK. Killing animals can be hard for some folks. It's easy to identify with the pain, suffering, and loss of life. Harvest a few more animals, and it won't be so hard on the heart strings. Eating the meat makes you feel differently towards the hunt also...
