John Bolton Dodges Question; Insults Anti-War Veteran

During a taping of the Stossel show at the 2012 International Students for Liberty Conference in Washington D.C., I got to confront neo-conservative war monger John Bolton on the issue of blowback, and it miraculously made it's way onto the Stossel show! I'm guessing we have the man himself, John Stossel, to thank for that.

Of course, this is Fox we're talking about, so there is some disingenuous editing. But the content of my question and Bolton's response is completely intact! Thank you Stossel!

UPDATE 2/27/2012:

Stossel released an unedited clip from one of the camera angles from the filming. Doesn't really show any booing after Bolton's response, but he DEFINITELY doesn't get applause. Those come after I begin to try rebutting his statement, but our conversation ends. Still fishy editing, or am I and everyone else who was there just getting caught up in the moment and the whole thing is a misunderstanding?

I don't know. A video and explanation for the edit can be found at the below link, and the explanation is at least plausible. I'll let you guys decide.

He is lying- saying he's a vet to beef up his anti-war credentials. Got it- only military leaders or vets can conduct a foreign policy that includes war. Let's remove that chickenhawk, Predator-droning, Afghan-surging Hawaiian from office right now! You're logic is a bit shaky- just because someone's a coward doesn't mean they're wrong.

He said he was embedded. Journalists get embedded, not soldiers. This guy is a warmonger. Yes, if you are going to be a warmonger, you should know the horrors of war. Bolton is a little bitch who says things are worth dying for, but is never willing to put his own life on the chopping block. He's a loud-mouthed little bitch.

He said if your story is true and it was an illegal "black bag" kidnapping of an Afghan then he should report it up the chain of command. His answer wasn't excellent, it was typical. Politicians never answer the question they were asked, and Bolton is no different in this response. The guy is a filmmaker, not a soldier. He never claims he's a solider. I'm no dove, but Bolton is a warmongering douche bag who has never served a single day in combat, has never been in the armed forces and it an all around douche bag.

Bolton's answer was excellent. The title is all wrong. He's doing what needs to done: slaying the sacred cow "I'm a vet so everything I say is gold." and responding cooly and substantively in a hostile environment. Why did this guy volunteer if what the US was doing there is so evil?
