Another Jenny graces the skies. The 1918 Curtiss JN4D flies on July 5, 2009, for the first times since its 7 year restoration. This is the first time this airplane has flown in over 80 years. Paul Dougherty Jr. and Paul Dougherty Sr. spearheaded the restoration at the Golden Age Air Museum in Bethel, PA. Paul Jr. was at the controls for the test flight. See our website www.goldenageair.org The Jenny is wearing the colors of Earl S. Daugherty of Long Beach, CA. Circa 1922. Thank you to all of the people that made this restoration possible. (sorry for the shakey video)
