And if the skunk sprays, you can always spray it right back with some buckshot or lead.

@iamofit No actually I am quite smart i am a straight A student and only thirteen so excuse me if I didnt want you to bleach your skin off im no scientist or genius so I have a right not to know about thiol or electrophilicity.

Use 1 quart of peroxide, 2 tsp of dawn dishwashing liquid and 1/2 cup of baking soda. mix well and apply to dry hair or body. The Dawn cuts the oils in the spray and helps get rid of the smell. You may need to repeat.

r u stupid? If you take a shower with bleach...it will eat away your skin plus there's plenty of other actions you can take to neutralize the odor

@Sydmeyser21 The skunk spray is a thiol, therefore due to the electrophilicity of sulfur an oxidizing agent is needed. It's ok, I'll wait while you look up thiol and electrophilicity.... pause.... eh hem. The stupid thing would be to not dilute the bleach, around a TSP per liter H2O would be about right. Now name a cheaper more prevalent oxidizer (than bleach) that is powerful enough to react a thiol. Or R U stupid?
