get a bigger water dish, most snakes like to soak them selves when its to hot. also helps the skin shed off in 1 or 2 solid piece(s)

Were his temps ever overly high? Neurological damage can occur from that.

Im sorry about it man:( The symptoms were'nt like that of IBD, though, as PeopleBeHatin mentioned.

Actually, it turned out to be a brain infection. The baytril did not work and I was certain too much damage was done, so I had him put down and necropsied. There was kidney damage from the infection, but no IBD.

From a good friend who did not know he could be sick. He has 4 other snakes and he will be taking them in for liver biopsies and blood smears. We are doing all we can to make this an isolated incident. This is really ugly stuff.
