Vovinam can' t be something that divide a country..I can't understand it..Vovinam must be the way to be all the same...I am Italian and don't see any dfference with others...I collaborate with countries that maybe I don't like for politics or other..but the people IS PEOPLE..so I like all of them..I have friend everywhere..I met ex south VN, ex north VN..for me are Vietnamese..are people of this world!

@kevinrocks2323 Vovinam can be effective every time if you train Vovinam good..it isn't Vovinam strong, it's you that can be strong or not! ;-)

@LilBlitz116 you are giving a judgement that vovinam is stupid althrough you don't know vovinam at all? ridicilous, people like you who only know vovinam from the shows are not in position to give a statement. every martial artz has acrobatics but having acrobatics doesn't mean it is limit to acrobatics. you have to sepearate acrobatics from fighting skills.you're stupid enough to think, that acrobatics is for real fight. your statement shows me that you have no idea of fighting at all.

some technique in vovinam aren't daredevil acts though, not really fatal but if you are impressing the crowd im sure it is cool... but i don't see its practical to go airborne if you are trying to defend or attack..

wow im from the philippines and I am impressed by this vovivinam technique... we have arnis / skrima but it is only stick fighting :D
