Spotakova upsets Germany's Big 2 in the javelin

Barbora Spotakova of the Czech Republic opened with a 66.40 meter javelin throw, besting that mark on her third try for 67.07 meters. The Czech national record was enough to beat Germans Christina Obergfoll and Steffi Nerius for the gold. (WCSN, WCSN.com)
