This video was recorded as part of the King James Bible Trust YouTube Bible Project http://bit.ly/f9Meaw. Ruth Gledhill of The Times (http://www.thetimes.co.uk/tto/public/profile/Ruth-Gledhill) reads from the King James Bible, first in the Chapel Court Tudor Garden at Hampton Court Palace, adjacent to The Chapel Royal and then Lambeth Palace Library, currently hosting an exhibition marking the 400th anniversary of the King James Bible, Out of the Sacred Tongues. http://bit.ly/gcMZ2p. The first Bible Ruth reads from is the 400th anniversary edition of the King James Bible, with a foreword by the Prince of Wales. The second is the bible presented to her late father, the Rev Peter Gledhill, at his ordination to the priesthood on 16 June 1957 at St Saviour's, Southwark. Beside her on the table at Lambeth Palace is her family's recently discovered rare edition of The Great Bible, dating from 1552. Compare the text of the KJV with that version here: http://bit.ly/mhVgdn
