Oak Apple Day at Castleton in Derbyshire. After a morning's preparation the garland, with 'The Queen' garland on top, is placed over the King. Accompanied by his Lady Consort they tour the village stopping at each pub with the band and white-clad dancing girls, then some maypole dancing and finally ending at the church. 'The Queen' garland is placed at the foot of war memorial and the main garland is raised to the top of the church to rest with the others already there.
