It's 1967 for me again everytime I hear this song. Great group the Seekers. Their music was and IS a part of me in spite of me being a Yank in Vietnam and the Phillipines at the time and them doing this concert in the Meyers Bowl down under. Thanks for the memories Judith and the Seekers.

@rjwarde I'm not sure, but it's someone who's always window shopping but never stopping to buy, and it's someone who needs to shed their dowdy feathers and fly and someone who needs to bring out all the love they have inside and someone who's scared of changing and rearranging themselves and someone who needs to start jumping down from the shelves. I have a feeling I'd be a Georgy Boy!

"Georgy Girl" was the title character in a novel by Margaret Forester and adapted into a movie starring Lynn Redgrave and James Mason in the mid '60's. The characters name is Georgina, so i assume it's a nickname.
