@starknight97 CATTB in this respect is much better and more thoughtful design that gives a real advantage on the battlefield + out of this thing can be a lot of things to create (repair and recovery vehicle, a heavy IFV, heavy medevac, etc.)

@starknight97 In my opinion, FCS is a stupid program. While I like the future APC wich Americans planned to build on the FCS. Stryker certainly needs to be replaced. But created tank in the mass 20-30 tons with the same level armor protection as a tank weighing 65 tons is not possible, no new technology here will not help.

@DisgorgeKILLusa3 besides the few picks just the cross over areas like lighter armor they wanted. Then a long range weapon systems, trophy hard kill system, Even the Cattb was totally new it was still on and had the m1 lower half. the 40ton FCS was the closest to a totally new tank. then the main fact that the cattb was just a test bed platform for trying new tech mean they are dumb if they don't use it more so since it the same platform but i don't think it'll get the 140mm or other goodies.

@starknight97 And what do you know about the modification of the M-1A3 ? It's just a modification of the M-1A2 or completely new tank as CATTB. Have you seen the video on YouTube where the train is carrying something similar to CATTB ?

The sides on the other Russian and Western European countries too, have lost much of their very interesting projects.

@starknight97 This missile is a project now like xm943 staff round. Very difficult to say whether it will be put into service or not. The high speed is needed to circumvent the NERA / ERA / APS types of protection. There's some unusual ammunition.

Americans need to complete the program CATTB in the middle of the 90s it was a stupid decision to close it.

@DisgorgeKILLusa3 heard all kinds of wild things about the Sokol-1 from a FF version with 5km to a semi guided 12km range and a top attack 24km range speed very too make sense though since Russian missile tech so advanced. Will see when they come out as the xm-1111 is on delay for the m1a3. Fast be good but the have too be real fast too make a good defense to even think of betting active defense systems.

@starknight97 Agree but they have experimental Sokol-1 missile 24 km range and hypersonic top-attack. But this is only the project as xm-1111 is difficult to say to the missile entered service or not.

@DisgorgeKILLusa3 because most are fat missiles they have too have a 120mm or less diameter. in the Russian case 125mm. xm-1111 would be better then allot of though with a 12km range.

@starknight97 I think Hellfire-2, JAGM, Meteor, Maveric, PARS is much better than all of these X-ROD, LOSAT, XM-1111, Reflex-m, Lahat etc. None of the modern tank can not stand getting into the roof of a heavy aircraft missiles.

@DisgorgeKILLusa3 Reflex-m 1 of a few out their yes flaws but sounds better then Lahat yet lahat better on paper. true slow but heavy warhead yes the rpg28/29 are older now but kill any tank they hit. the lahat has the same size warhead and true on the 45 deg but that still top armor though easy kill if it hits the javelin only 60 deg down. yes they are all slow for now. As far as the M829E4 they making it to bet the new ERA but with the L44 gun on the m1 i dough they get it much better then a3.

Lahat ? Ok. It also needs to be backlit laser-like reflex. It is true only in the terminal phase. Russia have experimetal new "Sokol-1" tank rocket - hypersonic, fully automatic guidance and multispectral seeker, the ability to overcome the APS, NERA, ERA, SLERA etc armor types. Range of 24 km, with the possibility of targeting any other means. Russian uranium munitions were in the late '70s they were not hard to do, but they had a length limit for automatic charging. Shell of which I spoke has a segmented core like a M829E4.

@DisgorgeKILLusa3 no the new t90ms and new ERA can defeat the M829A3 round and it barrel is a new Longer caliber higher pressure cannon adding too all current rounds. Pen in RH mm not yet out. then the new at-11 missile(9M119M Refleks) is of the same design as the rpg 28 with 4.5 kg warhead the same as the rpg 28. so it go right though it. then yes please explain on the Lahat lol i can't wait for this cause this kill the m1 even easier then the 9M119M Refleks will.

@DisgorgeKILLusa3 a DU core and they all have it it had a uranium core the u.s. would be attack by the u.n. experimental don't count till it on the field like xm1111 lol. Man your lost Dm53 & 63 are not the same the 63 is a smaller charge on purpose. i have the test for the A3 as i worked subcontract in the field. when he made the Blazer ERA he was working for Rafael at the time subcontract most likely.

Last modified M-1 with depleted uranium mesh of the third generation has the durability of the KE round, more than 850 mm in the forehead. Basically, I've heard about the projectile for 2A82 Russian gun with a coefficient of elongation of 1 to 68 (1 to 40 for M829A3) that exceeds the M829A3 and M829E4. But this shell with a uranium segmented core is an experimental.

Dr. Manfred was under contract for Rafael when he made ERA blazer. then he not German. yes and the round NATO so any other 120mm can fire our great rounds in their much better guns. both the m1 and leo 2 are based on the MBT-70 which is based on the leo 1 which is based on the t44,t55.

DM53 fired from L55 have penetration level 760mm RH at 2000m. M829A3 fired from L44 have penetration level 765mm RH at 2000m. then the 63 is a weaker charge anyway. then the lahat missile make up for the merks rounds easy. yeah but they don't have them.

@starknight97 Israeli M-322 and DM-63 German is much worse than the M-829A3. L55 gun and ammunition from Germans could not destroy the M-1 in the forehead, but only KSTAM ammo from this thing can be prevented. The transmission can be changed in any tank. In the experimental electricity transmission have to many countries.

@starknight97 Type 61 - to a large extent, this is an M-47, Type 74 - many taken from M-60. Do you think these tanks are self-development ?

Leo 2 was created by Leo tank 1, the American Army and the German had different requirements. Final Leo 2 was very similar to the prototype M-1 from the Chrysler. Firepower is dependent not only on the gun and the pressure in the barrel but also on the projectile, no country in the world does not have a serial analog M-829A3.

Will that unknown yet as it has a unknown composite and uses bot the ERA and NERA. the K@ has the most powerful western gun so first shot a kill anyway even vs the m1a2sep. Her suspension much better and uses KSTAM ammo giving the best range 8km.
