Shiny Eyes, White Devil

These are two songs I wrote a while ago. The first one, 'Shiny Eyes' was written in '97 -and is(I hope) one of those self-explanatory 'love' songs( a verse is missing). 'White Devil' was one that was inspired by love also; the love of a beloved friend that had an addiction. Please forgive the unprofessional(ism)...(there ARE errors by golly!)This was recorded impromptu without a plan and with a limited time using the camera available.(after some merrymaking ...) I will post more original songs later.

Shiny eyes; sparkling alive

shiny eyes- makin me weak
with the love alive,

She's got a devil in her eye
All you can see is what she shows you
She makes you fantasize- a devil in her eyes
She doesn't have to make a stand
And you don't have to understand her
She's a lover in your eyes
but she's a user in disguise
White devil in her eyes.
She's tamed, lamed or drained many men
Little greens to hard core daddy's-
Get her wired- she'll be your friend
For days on end she will pretend
but she keeps it all inside,
While she's runnin, you can't find where she hides.

Inside-it's a bonafide lie
Outside she didn't cry
She gives kindness to passers by
Gives away more of herself
Even than she has to hide
But you love her- and you'll love her

She loves you like no one before
Too good to throw her out the door
But you're in for a surprise-
a white devil in her eyes~

Still got a voice like silk, Carol. I think I remember doing this one with you. (Wrong ~ I know!)

Truncate this one to under 5 minutes and under 7 chords and you'll you'll realize about how editing your own stuff can make it easier with the next one. (I still DIG this song by the way) I have old 4-tr stuff of mine that's 12+ mins. lol

You are still amazing after all these years. Don't get jealous, Scott! Just callin' 'em as I see 'em.
