Duck Fist Kungfu

Duck style kungfu is a very rare internal martial arts style originating from china with more than a thousand year history. There are currently only two living masters of duck fist and both are over the age of 75 years old. The youth of today are not willing to learn this style because of its strange appearance, and the style is on the verge of extinction.

The woman in this video, Song Jinlan, was nearly 80 years old when it was filmed. She is the first disciple of Zhou Mingde, who subsequently somewhat popularized duck fist in the 1980s.

I can't believe there is an actual duck-style. It indeed does look rather strange but all the more reason to keep it alive. It's something unexpected you can add to your repertoire.
