start with racing class like Skip Barber, get a rookie license for SCCA, NASA or similar. Race 5-6 races without incident to get your regional license.
-
none, it's a sprint race. No pitstops.
-
trophy and some sponsors pay contingency money but it doesn't come close to paying the $100,000+ it costs to race a stohr in SCCA national class for a year.
-
how do you start racing in this scca class?
-
How many pits did you need for tires and fuel?
-
i cant tell from the video, but im guessing this isnt on slicks, but if u were i would have to say u handle the car like a pro

Stohr makes some wonderful racing machines. They've had such a stranglehold on D Sports Racer at the SCCA Runoffs. I love C Sports Racer, D Sports Racer, Sports 2000, and Spec Racer Ford (even if some of these no longer exist). That Stohr is a very capable race car.

The downshifts are awfully rough. What kind of clutch do you run?

Yes, I'm running slicks (Goodyear - 160 compound). Thanks for watching!
