5th SK Invitational S1 (4th Leg): Bike of Team MCX's Jerson Arellano Catches Fire (Cam 1)

While doing practice laps, one of the MCX bikes catches fire. Not sure of the cause, but it was mentioned by the commentator that it was probably due to a spark caused by the pipe coming in contact with the surface (not sure though how THAT started it.. a gas leak, perhaps?..). Good thing the rider left his bike before the fire started.

lakas ng tubig na pamatay ng apoy! dapat meron kayong fire extinguisher. incase nag karoon ng ganitong fire incident.

Oo nga po eh.. Though after that incident, they cited naman that that there really is a need to have a fire extinguisher at hand. 'Yun nga lang, they advised the participants to provide it themselves instead (meaning, to bring their own). Tsk. *shakes head*

Onga po eh.. Although nagamit rin po itong bike na 'to right after for the next race categories that MCX joined that day. Pinalitan lang raw po ng flarings ayon sa commentator kaya you could spot a red MCX bike racing that day for the subsequent races (white lang po kasi usually). Not sure lang what they did with the insides of the bike that were damaged..

At hindi rin po ata ito 'yung bike ng MCX na sinasali nila sa mga modified categories kaya 'di po ata ito 'yung kargado.

At yup, sayang nga at 'di naagapan. 'Di sana ganun kalaki o kalala 'yung naging damage sa motor kung na-extinguish agad. Tsk, tsk. Wala pang fire extinguisher..
