Frozen rail shot, if you have seen this before, 99.9 percent chance it was not a legal shot. This one is! This is the Hustler Movie bank shot from a different view.

  • THIS IS NOT THE 9-BALL THER'S 2 ON IT !

  • @ThaatFella So by your logic, anytime the cue ball is frozen to an object ball, if you hit the frozen ball then it's illegal because it's a push shot? I don't know where you play at but wherever it is they have some fucked up rules.

  • The "Color of Money" shot is this shot (easy as hell to do - even I can do it)

youtube search: "Easy Pool Trick Shot - Kick the 9-Ball in the Pocket"

  • Most of the comments are funny ... this is NOT the same bank/trick shot from "Color of Money". (unless there is another quick shot I'm missing) The shot in Color of Money has the positions of the balls reversed (cue ball is touching rail - so you shoot an angled "rail-kick"), and the object ball gets potted into long-side corner pocket.

The submitter has it correct - although the shot shown on the youtube video uses a lot more angle than the shot from "The Hustler".

  • its also not a legal shot, if the other ball moves froma touching ball then its a push shot and is a foul

  • hey look its a Jim Remke training cueball

  • I learned how to do this after watching the hustler

  • I love how everyone is saying this is from "Poolhall Junkies" when it was on "The Color of Money" well before that and it was on "The Hustler" before that! Just a little bit of cinema history for some of you... Nice shot by the way. Gotta love the haters.

  • It's legal as long as the object ball goes in a pocket. Or the object ball or cue ball hits a rail.
