This so weird! When I was match sprinting, the trackstand was different. We angled the bicycle with the front wheel below the front wheel. This allows the racer to use the banking quicker. Also, balancing with the front wheel above the rear is easier. It takes more skill to do it the proper way, with the front wheel below the front. We also practised riding whole laps looking behind us. Not looking forward even once. And the front rider never took their eyes off the rear rider.
