HD Starcraft 2 - PvP - Proxy vs Cannon - Platinum w/Commentary

Basics: He proxys me, I scout it out and in response cannon rush him. Who will win? Both of us lose our bases and rebuild.

I'm posting this video semi-seriously as I find it hilarious that we both destroyed the other person's base and had to rebuild. I figured while I was posting it I might as well put some commentary in to hopefully help some people out. I know I'm not a pro at this game by any means.


I hope this video will help beginners out. I know I sure watched a ton of vids like this before I made it up to platinum. I'm not the best, and I mention many times things that I could have done better. Perhaps you can get an idea from what I did and improve on it for your own games.

I'm currently rank 1 platinum and mostly play diamonds. If I wasn't disconnecting and dropping from 1/4 of all my games I'd probably be in diamond already. Oh well, can't really help the crappy university wireless internet until I've got more money coming in.

I play this dude that does a cannon rush and warps in stalks/zealots...how do I counter that, I always scout and always try and look for it but he always hides it in a reallllly good spot cause he knows the maps. As soon as he gets that cannon down I don't quite have enough to counter the cannon cause its early in the game so what do i do?
