  • I'll take your word for it ,lol

  • Haha...bloody legends.!!

It's easy to talk hard about catching crabs..reality of it is that if you don't have gloves and you're not a seasoned crab catcher..this can be scary as fark.!!

    You boys are legnds.!!

  • @dez1404 cheers dood!

  • I dont have one sorry mate next time i go down to mandurah ill video it, im 16 and jump off the boat in the water bare foot with no gloves sometimes to chase a crab and when i saw u guys hesitation made me question the title of the video.. use both hands cause the crabs usually try to grab one object, if u can grab its shell it will only latch on to your wrists with no damage but if they get your fingers they can hurt a bit. or get each claw cause they swim sideways with claws stretched out.

  • @king1maj

we are leaning over the bank, unbalanced, and the water decieves where the object your actually grabbing is, it is best with two hands as you say but thats pretty diffulcult where we were to be done in one quick movement! thought i'd put this vid up to rival all the ones who spend coin on flash boats and big nets to catch the humble blue swimmer crab!

  • Hahah tough aussie men, took u ages to build up the confidence to get them crabs man.

  • @king1maj Ha, where's your vid of you doing better dood?

  • @dez1404: I never said i didn't have gloves just that sometime u take them off, or are taking a break and when u see a crab, gloves or no gloves you chase it, and not seasoned?, mate ive been going crabbing since i was born.

  • @jetmea The spots vary each season depending on where the crabs are, and since i have not had a chance to go crabbing since the season has opened in october i cant tell you accurately, other then to say that the east or side of the estuary, or the furtherest away side from the ocean has always been more profitable, when using scoop nets and such, just remember to take a gauge and stick to the 10 crabs per person limit, to ensure we have these wonderful creatures forever.

  • @king1maj hi can u pls tell me a nice landbased spot i can get em from shore?

  • try that with muddies ..... soo much harder , nearly lost a thumb xD
